COMMENCAL META POWER SX AVINOX PODIUM PURE BLACK 2026

The META POWER SX AVINOX Podium represents the most performance-focused interpretation of COMMENCAL’s Avinox platform. A powerful, well-tuned Avinox drive unit is paired with a lively 160 mm chassis designed to stay composed at speed and under sustained load.

The Virtual Contact System (VCS) suspension delivers consistent, race-ready behaviour across demanding terrain, maintaining traction and stability when pushing hard. A mixed-wheel configuration and carefully managed weight distribution enhance precision, allowing the bike to remain responsive and accurate through technical sections and high-speed lines.

Finished in Pure Black, the Podium build is aimed at riders who want maximum control, confidence, and performance from the Avinox system—ideal for aggressive trail riders and enduro-minded e-MTB users who value speed, stability, and a no-compromise setup.

The META POWER SX AVINOX PODIUM is a high-spec build featuring a FOX Podium Factory fork and an electronic SRAM XO Eagle T-Type drivetrain.

• The inverted FOX Podium Factory fork with 160 mm travel is designed to provide high stiffness in a compact package. With 47 mm stanchions and a 20 mm steel axle, it aims to balance weight and rigidity. To complement the fork, the Float X Factory X2 rear shock is selected to help balance grip and comfort.
• Braking is handled by SHIMANO Deore XT 4-piston brakes. Paired with 203 mm rotors, this setup is designed for consistent, controlled braking on long descents.
• DT SWISS HX 1700 wheels are paired with DT SWISS 370 hubs, a combination suited to demanding trail and e-MTB use.
• The SRAM XO Eagle T-Type drivetrain is well suited to e-MTB riding, offering electronic shifting and a robust, versatile range for varied terrain.

Size guide

What Size to Choose?

According to your riding style, choose a bike with a shorter Reach for more responsive and intuitive handling, or one with a longer Reach for more stability and confidence at high speeds. On a longer model, the front wheel is positioned farther forward, giving an enhanced feeling of security but at the expense of maneuverability and requiring more effort to move the bike.

Between Two Sizes?

When you find yourself between two sizes, the ideal solution is to test ride both to see which fits you best. Unfortunately, this isn't always possible. At minimum, check the Reach and Stack measurements of your current bike to compare them with those of the model you're considering. This will give you a better idea of which size to choose and how the position will feel once on the bike. You can also follow the advice below.

Morphology

Body proportions vary from person to person, even at identical heights. If you have long legs and a shorter-than-average torso, you might consider choosing a bike with a shorter Reach than the recommended size. Conversely, if you have long arms and a more developed upper body, the larger size might be better suited to your morphology. Ideally, you should try before you choose.
